The four programs explore several different chamber music formats, including the concerto, and feature several instruments not often seen in the purview of chamber music – the guitar and flute. The programs also include works of modern composers, such as Ravel, Milhaud, Svoboda, and Debussy as well as those of such icons as Beethoven, Mozart, and Haydn. The attitude is casual and friendly, with commentary from the stage that helps you further appreciate the music and the featured composers. We even feature complimentary pizza appetizers on Wednesday evenings and complimentary coffee and doughnuts on Thursday mornings!
