Here we feature a pair of the finest of the genre: an early work by Schumann and Beethoven's final quartet. These two compositions provide a wide compass of the Romantic Era - Shumann's youthful buoyancy is contrasted here with the depth of Beethoven's full musical maturity. The DPO Principal String Quartet and DPO Pianist Josh Nemith will provide impassioned advocacy for these brilliant works.
