Parents and children everywhere remember reading Dr. Seuss’s story of “Sam-I-am” and his hilarious advocacy of a rather questionable meal. Here, we put one of the great children’s books of all time to music. You may know composer Rob Kapilow from NPR's popular What Makes It Great series. Of course, many composers loved to create works for youngsters and the young-at-heart. Conductor Patrick Reynolds celebrates those works in this fun and varied program.
