DAYTON, OH (February 11, 2015) – On Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 8 pm in the Mead Theatre of the Schuster Center, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, under the leadership of Conductor Patrick Reynolds, will present Symphonic Springsteen, the third concert in the 2014–2015 Dayton Freight Rockin’ Orchestra Series.   The DPO will be joined on stage by Springsteen tribute band Bruce In The USA, fronted by lead singer Matt Ryan. Associate Sponsor for this performance is HORAN.

Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen is all about a straightforward musical style, a concern with the average, blue-collar American, and a firm belief that rock’s purpose exceeds mere entertainment and incorporates a social, communal purpose. Listen to Bruce’s music, and you’ll hear both commercially easy-to-get rock and more somber, folk-oriented works. The songs on his Born in the U.S.A. and Born to Run albums provide the best example of the man’s ability to find magnificence in the efforts of daily American life. To album sales in excess of 65 million in the US and 120 million worldwide he has added numerous awards for his work, including 20 Grammys, two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

And now Bruce In The USA, called by Legends, Las Vegas “The most powerful and intense Springsteen tribute on the planet," comes to the Schuster Center. Much more than just another tribute, Bruce In The USA is a high-energy, note-perfect, and visually accurate recreation of a Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band show. Matt Ryan, from the World Famous Legends In Concert cast, began playing the Springsteen character in 2000 in the Legends "full-scale" Las Vegas show. From Matt’s great success with Legends, his character evolved into the Bruce In The USA show.

The Bruce In The USA Band consists of seasoned world-class professional musicians from such acts/bands as Queen/Paul Rodgers, Meatloaf, Blue Öyster Cult, Hall and Oates, Joe Cocker, The O'Jays, Aretha Franklin, David Cassidy, The Temptations, Slash…and so many more. This high-end, powerhouse band has taken this genre of performance art to a whole new level, making it the world's number-one tribute to the E Street Band's musical legacy.

In Symphonic Springsteen, Bruce In The USA will perform "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out,"
"American Land," "America the Beautiful (Musical Piece)," "Badlands," "Because the Night," “Backstreets,” "Born in the USA," "Born to Run," "Glory Days," "Hungry Heart/Out in the Streets," "Jungleland," “I’m on Fire,” "Meeting Across the River," "Youngstown," "Rosalita," "Dancing in the Dark," "The Rising," and "Thunder Road."

Don’t miss Bruce In The USA, the band that has been called “the ultimate celebration of Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band's legacy."
